1. Data controller

For anything concerning your personal data, write to privacidad@akemix.app. This policy is governed by Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013.

2. What we collect and why

Only what you hand us when you write. On the support form: your name, your email, the reason, the version you use and your message, for the sole purpose of replying to you. On the release notice: your email and, if you want, what you use Akemix for, for the sole purpose of telling you when a version ships.

To stop automated submissions we store a value derived from your IP address through a salted hash. That value serves to count submissions, not to identify you, and the IP address itself is never stored.

3. What we do not collect

We do not access the audio you capture, mix or record. We do not collect the list of devices connected to your server, the contents of your scenes, or your recording files. The software sends no telemetry.

The Android app asks for location permission only because Android requires it to read the WiFi network name. Your position is never queried, no coordinates are stored, and that data never leaves your phone.

4. How long we keep it

Support messages are kept for as long as they are useful to handle your case and as an incident history. Release-notice emails, until you ask to be removed. The log behind the submission limit is deleted automatically every day.

5. Who else processes it

Supabase hosts the database where form submissions are stored, in the us-west-2 region (Oregon, United States). Netlify serves this site. Cloudflare handles the domain, the email and the aggregate visit measurement. Lemon Squeezy processes payments as merchant of record.

This involves an international transfer of your data to the United States. By sending us a form you authorise that transfer, which is made with providers applying security standards equivalent to those required by Colombian regulation.

6. Cookies and measurement

This site uses no advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking cookies. Visit measurement, when active, is aggregate and works without cookies: it counts page views and where they come from, and cannot recognise a person.

7. Your rights

As the data subject you may access, update and rectify your data; request proof of the authorisation you gave us; be informed of the use we make of it; revoke that authorisation or request deletion where no legal duty to retain applies; and file complaints with the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce. To exercise any of these, write to privacidad@akemix.app.

We answer enquiries within the ten business days and complaints within the fifteen business days set by law. If more time is needed, we will tell you and give the reason before the deadline expires.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, it is published here with a new date. When the change affects the purpose of processing, we will tell you at the email address you gave us.
